A Bit About Sidney

Sidney’s journey with horses began at just 18 months old, when she first sat on a pony named Mucho Heart at a local flea market. Even then, it was clear she belonged in the saddle. By age three, she had her own pony—and from that point on, horses became her lifelong passion.

Sidney brings a diverse background to her training program, with experience in reining, working cow horse, team roping, and rodeo queen pageants. While she enjoyed every discipline, she ultimately found her true calling in the hunter/jumper ring. She has competed in numerous mini prix events and hunter derbies, combining her western foundation with the finesse and precision of English riding.

Over the years, Sidney has had the privilege of training with renowned professionals such as Jenni McAllister , Jill Humphrey, and Chenoa McElvain.

As much as Sidney loves riding, she’s equally passionate about teaching. She’s guided students to prestigious competitions including Pony Finals, the USHJA Zone Championships, Junior Hunter Finals, the Maclay Finals, and USHJA National Championships. She’s also helped riders earn spots on collegiate equestrian teams and supported young athletes through international hunter derby competitions.

Sidney’s training philosophy is rooted in patience, discipline, and a deep love for both horse and rider. She’s committed to helping each student reach their fullest potential—whether in the show ring or in everyday horsemanship.
